Jarl Pen Medvidev (a.k.a. Pen the Architect)
Pen Medvidev, also known as Pen the Architect.
Founded Siv in 904 at the age of 32, and built Greystone Keep in 908 around the site of the Black Slate Seat.

Married a woman from his nomadic tribe named Brit, also known as Brit of Stone, a fierce woman who became the strength behind Pen's soft spoken authority. They had two sons, Hilt in 895 and Haxin 900.

Personal history
In 904 Pen founded the city of Siv. A year or so after building the first buildings Pen was out on the island in the center of the Northrun river and came upon a white raven. He followed the raven back to it's nest and found the Black Slate Seat, and the site around which he would build Greystone Keep to be finished in 908.
Reign
Pen was the first Sivien Jarl, creating the title in 910(???)to rule over the city he and his followers had built. He ruled over the new city until his death in 944.
