The Veil

The Veil is an invisible layer of energy that suffuses the universe and grows in the presence of the wills and dreams of man, beast, and monster alike. It is the magic of Aelladore: the power that fuels the spells of mages, clerics, magical creatures, and more. It is said that if a mortal dies where the Veil is thin, then their soul does not pass on to the Cycle.
