Grand Knight
Syndarilin is the Grand Knight of the Knights of Caipharos. A human cleric, she has served in that capacity for nearly 15 years now. When she was elevated to the position, the Knights had suffered nearly 300 years of decline, their numbers dwindling to fewer than 200. She has since focused heavily on recruitment and spreading the truths of Caipharos. The result has seen their numbers swell to more than 1000, placing at least one agent in nearly every major populace on the planet.
Her background is somewhat of a mystery. Most believe she came from the West, but she never speaks of her past prior to finding the path of Caipharos. This mystery has given rise to many rumors and wild tales of speculation about her background. She neither speaks to, nor acknowledges these things, except perhaps to give the occasional wry smile when someone relates such tales in her presence. Some, especially among the upper ranks of the Knights, believe that she secretly encourages such speculation to fuel recruitment into the order.
