The IRS Session 8: Around Every Corner Report
General Summary
The IRS finds themselves trapped in a labyrinth with a group of Promatican scouts. The scouts claim they have been there for months, but they have only been missing for a few days.
The IRS decide to rest up in the Promatican’s camp before exploring the labyrinth
Cael and Rizzo become trapped in a never-ending hallway while Nessa and Gehenna map out the southern area of the labyrinth.
After freeing themselves from the hallway, Rizzo and Cael rejoin their comrades to finish out exploring the southern labyrinth.
After realizing that the southern section led to nothing but dead ends, the IRS heads to the eastern section of the labyrinth. Nessa and Cael find what seems to be a ruined temple in the labyrinth, filled to the brim with horrors of the abyss.
After clearing out the room, Nessa finds a note that beacons her to the southern deserts. She seems to think it’s the deserts of Gaineamór near Khudaldaa.
While Nessa and Cael were discussing Nessa’s findings, Rizzo and Gehenna find a copy of Nessa at the camp after she killed the remaining Promatican scouts.
After dealing with the copy, Cael and Nessa walk in and find the carnage. After evaluating the situation, the IRS realizes that the labyrinth is adapting to them.
Exploring the southwestern end of the labyrinth, the IRS found an experimental technomancy workshop filled to the brim with hostile warforged.
The IRS defeat the warforged by the skin of their teeth (except for Rizzo) and are about to rest up before coming face to face with a copy of Rizzo and Nessa.
