The IRS Session 3: Big Trouble in Little Crate Report
General Summary
The party arrived through the gates of Gol-Duulga and were immediately met with the city guards that frisk them for magical items.
An enchanted wooden sword and magical mud armor were taken from Gehenna, and a scroll imbued with a spell was taken from Nessa. Each of these characters were given a stone in which they can receive their items back when / if they leave the city.
The party split up in the city to either find a place to stay the night, attempt to sell there raw materials, or busk in the street.
Cael and Zalahk find a temple dedicated to the god Visku who seemed to have been anticipating their arrival.
Gehenna and Rizzard found a shop keep, named Inós Kater, willing to offer them a job to find a crate of lost supplies and return them to him.
Rizzard becomes very interested in this opportunity and manages to rope in Nessa to scout out the job, while the rest seem reluctant to participate.
Cael, Gehenna, and Zalahk attempt to enter the academy district using a pass granted to them by the temple. Upon finding out that it can only be used for one person, Zalahk elects that Cael should enter the area to find clues about the medallion he bought that seems similar to his own.
Cael ends up being found out as a Amidrakh monk and made very unwelcome in the district. He does manage to find information about the medallion, connecting it to the founder of the potioner’s guild in Gol-Duulga.
Gehenna and Zalakh attempt to work at a high-end blacksmith in the southern district of the city but are thwarted by the absolute stuck-upness of the shop keep. Typical Gol-Duulgans.
After much more deliberation, the party decided to venture outside the walls in search for the supplies.
