USPS Session 5: The Gangs of Utdanning Report
General Summary
The party finds themselves in Mellerst Rail Station near the center of Utdanning. They had just received 5 SP for guarding a shipment of fantasma crystals from the dastardly Clan Raseri.
Willow and Lukas venture into the city on their own, leaving Diaga, Harvoni, and Roger to venture forth separately.
Roger and Harvoni split off to find a bakery leaving Diaga to search for a job.
Roger and Harvoni conduct a heist to steal bread from Gronk’s Stronk Bread by using a flock of owls to grab as many loaves of bread as possible. They managed to make out with two loaves of bread without getting caught themselves.
Diaga ventures into the tunnels under the Kappi Research Institute and runs into Utathur Förvisa, a young leonin woman who claims to be a professor at the Institute. She offers to pay Diaga to bring her a specific person from Clan Raseri. She did not specify the motives, but Diaga obliged anyway. Diaga then runs to find the rest of the party.
After their heist, Roger and Harvoni split up to do their own things.
Harvoni attempts to make her way into the Kappi Research Institute finding a mysterious masked stranger attempting to get into the campus with an invalid ID stone. She leaves the stranger to their own devices but notes how suspicious they were.
As Roger wandered the streets of Meadville, he got a burning feeling in the back of his head. A feeling like he was being scorned by a group of homeless people squatting in an alleyway. He dealt with the situation by secretly summoning a group of rats to attack the homeless group, leaving them with minor bit wounds. The feeling in his mind was then satiated.
During this time Diaga went looking for Dr. Motby to see if he had any leads. He claims that the Raseri might be in a blood feud with Clan Visindi which could cause lots of trouble in times ahead. Dr. Motby also requests that if they are finding Clan Raseri, that the party attempts to get him a barrel of anesthetic which was presumably stolen from him.
After this Diaga attempts to meet with Harvoni and Roger to discuss the plan to find the Clan Raseri encampment. After some time, the group gathers and decides to find a Clan Visindi member at a bar to see if they can get any information out of him. Upon entering a bar in the Leikskalar district Roger feels an itching sensation that a drawven bar goer is giving him a bad look and confronts him. This confrontation led to the pair settling their beef over a game of Glíma. Roger, using his patron’s power, drowns the dwarf in a barrel of ale which declares him the winner. The dwarf then told all he knew about the Clan Raseri member Totfram.
Setting out on this lead, the group heads out of town to the east bound roads where they find Totfram and his goons. They started to combat the clan members, only to be quickly overpowered. Seeing his advantage Totfram pushed into the Party’s range, which ended poorly for him as he was quickly subdued in the tree line.
With their captive in tow, the party escapes to Uta’s house in Warehouse Isle, as they wait to decide what to do next.
