Khan
A position of power for the rulers of the Ezlekhian territories. Typically, these rulers have powers similar to modern Dictators, having absolute rule over the territories they reside in. Some of these Khan positions have less of a stranglehold on their territories, such as Id Duudakh's Khan Zuraach, who instead operates more as a President for his people.
Qualifications
The Khan must be given some form of non-homeschooled education, since its establishment over 500 years ago, Ankhnyus Academy in Bambai has been Ezlekh's primary educator for soon-to-be Khans
Requirements
On top of the education requirement, Khan's are all linked by blood to the ancient (supposed) genie founder of Ezlekh, Grand Khan Dai' Ehk. Typically, these Khans are in the 18-25 range upon taking power. A new Khan earns their power either after the previous Khan dies, or if the current Khan cannot perform all their duties.
Duties
Though the exact responsibilities in each territory vary, typically each Khan has a majority say on the implementation of laws, establishes foreign relations, and making important military decisions such as going to war or coordinating attacks. The Khans are also tasked with the creation and training of a proper heir to the throne, as they need to continue their rich heritage.
