Burkh Shiree

A town nestled in the Feramonto Mountains, Burkh Shiree sits right on the edge of the Ezlekhian-Promatican border just West-Southwest of Fontuva.  This town is normally known by travellers to be the last stop for those heading across the Promatican border, and conveniently is a massive producer of spell scrolls through a sort-of scroll printing press in the "Geomanticia, Legendary Ink" shop, which proves very useful to travellers who would otherwise have to go magic-less through their journeys into Promaticous.
Burkh Shiree used to be a lot more bustling before skirmishes began occurring on its borders and even on the edges of the town itself, with many of its citizens being forced out of their homes as a result.  Though the town's center full of wealthy business owners is untouched by war, these center streets are commonly-now filled with picket signs and protests as the disparagence has left its outskirts unkempt with boarded-up houses, rampant public intoxication and drug-use, and the squalor of its homeless population.
The success of the city's marketplace relies off of its proximity to the Promatican border, seeing wealthy Promatican clients buying much of its goodes, as well as a Shuudanchiid-supplied smuggling trade which the population pretends does not exist.
