Handel's Handy Healing Hands Hand

Originally designed by Handel Mossgrim of Bosme, Handel's Handy Healing Hands Hand (or the Healing Hand, as it is more often called) is now a staple of the temples and shrines of Cireth. It is particularly favored by the Faith of the Healing Light.

Discovery

Handel claimed to have discover the recipe for the Healing Hands while on a pilgrimage to Melavik. A number of stories from his retinue, spoken over stiff drinks late in the night, suggest that he simply happened to find the first Healing Hand on the side of the road, abandoned by some former, unknown creator.

Utility

The Healing Hands are used by priests of Cir to store healing miracles for later use. Though the hands are usually used to cure diseases and ailments, in a pinch they can also heal wounds, though much less efficiently.

Manufacturing

The exact process of creating a Healing Hands Hand is a closely guarded secret of the Cirethian priesthood, but the process is not so complicated that it lacks duplicates. Other religions, particularly those of The Council of Stars, have designed similar artifacts over the years since its first development.

In Game Stats
If you are attuned to the Healing Hand, you can spend part of a Short or Long Rest to imbue the Hand with your Lay on Hands. When you do, you can put as many of your remaining Lay on Hands HP pool as you would like into the Healing Hand.   Later, you can use your action to touch another creature with the Healing Hand to heal them, spending the HP from the Healing Hand instead of your usual Lay on Hands HP pool.
