Dugton
Dugton is the town at the heart of Amberwood Duchy. Built half in the ruins of an old fortress alongside a prominent road, Dugton is where the people of Amberwood meet for festivals. It is also the region's capital.
There is a longstanding tradition in Dugton that the ruler of the town will append their name to the town's title. In its early days, before Fibwink united Fisterix under his banner, the town was the central location in a large number of border disputes and underwent several abrupt changes in leadership.
In more recent years, and especially since the Second Nobsplat Uprising, the townsfolk have found some measure of independence, and the full name of the town is only used on official government documents.
