The Defeat of the Primordials

The first deities ban together and banish the Primordials.

Primordials, raw forces of nature, are gargantuan creatures with immense power that rivals that of the gods themselves. Each embodied a separate element, and it seemed like most rose from their elemental planes with a singular objective. That being, to return the Material Realm to the building blocks of creation.   The Primordials were a group of six. The first four were the pure essence and power of the element of their home plane, be it earth, fire, water, or air. The fifth one was an interesting case, Kylamet the Wyrm God .   Kylamet, unlike the other Primordials, had sentience to it. When the Primordials and the Deities came to clash, Kylamet listened to the reasoning of the Deities who came in defense of this new realm. Thus, the Wyrm God joined forces with the first Deities, and combined, managed to banish the other Primordials back to the planes where they rose from. At this time, there was no distinction between The Elysians and The Chthonic, they were one pantheon. As such, they all saw each other as comrades who survived a war together.   The only thing known about the sixth Primordial is that it existed, and that it was killed during the battle with the Deities.
