Idhren Dominion
As a protectorate of the Valorion Dominion, the elves of the Idhren Dominion operated less as their own faction and more as an extension of the the elves of Tol Annûn. Settling the coast of Tusnya ensured elven influence throughout the unexplored region for centuries to come. The elves constructed temples and libraries dedicated to Ettuna as well as named and surveyed the wilderness surrounding them. Not much is known about their culture and society as they were secretive in their endeavors, although there are some such as the Order of Antiquity who spend their lives excavating elven ruins.
Culture
Known for their affinity towards magic and magical items, the Idhren Dominion rewarded curiosity and research towards the arcane. As a peaceful faction, they embraced nonviolent resolutions to conflict and did not maintain a standing army. However, they were also extremely protective over their possessions and went to great lengths to secure the artifacts they created.
History
In 502 AR, a fleet of elven ships set sail from Athilor towards the mainland of Aecenys. They stopped intermittently at harbors in Tyre and Ardor, but ultimately settled on their destination in the unexplored region of Tusnya. After sailing for over a month, the elven explorers caught landfall near the mouth of the Ambar Nen river. It was there they disembarked and founded the elven village of Teldor, now called Yarrin. Little was known of the new land around them, so they began exploring and studying their new environment. They named much of the topography, including the forests and rivers of the region. Over the next few decades, the elves developed their own society away from the prying eyes of the Valorion Dominion. They constructed settlements, temples, and libraries in the architectural style of the elves, and were poised to spread their influence deeper inland. However, the elves were drawn away from the fertile lands of the river juncture and instead began migrating west towards the forest of Eryn Sael. The ambitious explorers set forth into the magical forest, as if called by something supernatural. It wasn't long before the expedition discovered an ancient arcane wellspring near the Luin Nen river. Thirsty for knowledge, particularly of the arcane, the elves of the Idhren Dominion withdrew from their quest to spread influence throughout the region. Instead they retreated into the forest, abandoning much of what they constructed, and soon became known as the Tirith Sûl.
