Watcher's Ledge
First founded by the Harston family, Watcher’s Ledge was once a small community sitting on a rocky outcrop attached the the mainland by a stone archway. Time and the salty ocean air had over the years eroded that arch, however, leaving Watcher’s Ledge to stand on a lone spire, with one hanging bridge connecting it back to the main land of Istoria. As a result it was a common joke in the area that the Ledge, as the westernmost settlement in Istoria, was the first of the Fractured Isles.
While all sorts of people came to Watcher’s Ledge, it was fairly well-known for being a popular place for adventurers to retire - it was close enough to Estea that the city was only a couple of days travel away, while far enough away to be a quiet and relaxed place to settle. It was a small settlement, but comfortably small as opposed to being lonely.
The stone spire supporting Watcher’s Ledge has unfortunately collapsed, sending the entire village tumbling into the bright blue waters of the Crystalline Ocean and leaving nothing but ruin in its wake. The village was destroyed by an unknown entity that tried to manipulate the villagers into committing blood sacrifices. The entity's efforts were thwarted by the Eleutherai, who later learned that their efforts prevented one of the Seals from being broken, though at the cost of Watcher's Ledge.
