Bright Barony

The Bright Barony is one of the regions under rule of Istoria, the Eternal Empire. The territory is part of the Crystal Coast region, and begins west of Estea, the nation's capital. The city of Brightcliff is the seat of the Baron or Baroness as well as a variety of other nobles who prefer to gaze over Dawnlight Bay and across to Estea rather than live in the capital. A few farmsteads support the barony, and in theory at least its territory stretches all the way throughout the Crystal Breeze Woods to the border of the Veiled Fields - though there is a long dispute between the Bright Barony and the Grand Rosen Duchy over who can lay claim to that miserable, haunted battlefield.
