Acentian Fleet Air Arm
Structure
The Fleet Air Arm is a part of the Peoples Navy and thus is governed by the Secretary of the Navy. The Bureau of Naval Logistics is responsible for most of the day to day buisness and management of the navy and her personel. The Department of Naval Munitions is responsible for arming and maintaining all of the 6,400 Aircraft in the FAA.
Culture
The FAA has a strong culture dating back to its inception. Pilots are very, VERY Patriotic to their squadrons and VERY prejudice of other squadrons. However in the modern era this is based alot more around friendly competition and sportsmanship. The Deck crews are known colloquially as "The Mafia" do to the vast majority of the original members being from the crime ridden slums of acentia where the best mechanics tended to be from. This gang like mentality of the units. this is usually harmless.
Assets
The FAA fields more than 6,400 aircraft with the Majority of those being air superiority or Multi-role fighters. The backbone of the FAAs fighter compliment is made up of 3,200 F-9C King Shark fighters. The FAA also consists of many AWAC, Cargo, and ASW Aircraft such as the F-9S King Crab, an Anti-Submarine version of the previously mentioned King Shark.
