Thorn Barrage

Rose thorns are some of the most dangerous weapons in all of the kingdom of Flora, but they are merely used for defense, and are too small to be harmful to people. But imagine if both those facts were not true?

Effect

Base Effects: Extending your hands, weaving the energies of Dulra, thin needle like thorns, much in the shape of rose thorns, but of gleaming emerald colors, fly forth from your hands, spiking and piercing all in the area of the blast. All creatures within the cone must attempt a Agility Defensive Test. Should they fail, they take 2d6 piercing damage and 2d6 poison damage and gain the Toxic (1) Condition. On a successful test they take half damage and do not become afflicted with the condition.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Increase the instances of damage by 1d6 each and increase the cone size to 45 feet.

Tier III Effects: Increase the instances of damage by 1d6 each and increase the condition afflicted to Toxic (2)

Manifestation

Voris lashed his hands out, seeing the fell gnolls, slavering and ravenous, closing in. A burst of emerald thorns erupted from his hands, ripping into the charging beasts, the spikes inflicting grevious wounds, bringing down a pair of the beasts.
