Stone-Shape

An excellent spell for to aid with prospecting expeditions, and also a useful one to have on hand in case of cave ins!

Effect

Base Effects: Focusing and maintaining your grip on Domhan, you basically shape the manna ahead of you as you move, shifting and forcing it aside, willing the stone and soil before you to alter its shape and position. This allows all manner of effects, such as creating ramps, tunnels, blockading caves, altering the layout of caverns and more. As you move, so long as you maintain control of the spell-form, your alterations remain even after you pass them by. Once you allow the spell to fail or the duration is hit, those alterations will slowly shift back to their original position over the next hour.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Your influence extends 15 feet ahead of you now. Furthermore, the alterations you make, even after having lost grip on or maxing the duration, will take 2 hours to shift back to their original positions.

Tier III Effects: Your influence extends 20 feet ahead of you now. Furthermore, the alterations you make, even after having lost grip on or maxing the duration, will take 3 hours to shift back to their original positions.

Manifestation

Marcus glanced at his fellow miners, the pair of them. It was getting a bit hard to breath now in the small alcove, the caved in tunnel quiet all around them. They'd put their lanterns out immediately to conserve what little air they had but now even with that breathing was getting difficult. He began thinking terrible thoughts about the youngster among them, William. The lad had spent the first precious minutes breathing a bit panicked, understandable given his left arm had been broken in the cave in. But his hazy mind was cursing the boy for wasting precious air.

Suddenly he heard the slight grinding and shifting, as if the stone around them was shifting. Another cave-in, their end, likely. But then a gruff voice spoke through the dust, and Marcus found himself able to take a deep breath. "Alright lads, up and at 'em lets go. Took me some time ta find ya lot. Me magick just ended, we got an hour ta get out of here, so I hopes none of ye are bloody crippled!" came the stern tone of Burda, the Topaz Magister whom ran the prospecting division. Marcus didn't need to be told twice, moving swiftly to help the weakened William, nodding his silent thanks to the gruff dwarf as he passed by him into the magickally forged tunnel.
