Spore Cloud

Choking, toxic, blinding, a horrible experience. Many of natures plants have such defense mechanisms, and it should not be surprising that Magisters of the Emerald are capable of calling forth such things via their magick.

Effect

Base Effects: Weaving the flows of Dulra, swirling the emerald energies in the Aether from all across the ground, all through the plants and roots about you, you bring the volatile energies together, calling them forth from the Aether, manifesting them as a cloud of spores. Anyone within the area when the cloud first appears must make a Toughness Defensive Test. Should they fail, they take 3d6 poison damage and 1d6 psychic damage and gain the Toxic (1) Condition and the Confused (1) Condition. Should they succeed, they still take half damage and none of the conditions. Attacking creatures within the cloud is done against the Momentum due to reduced visibility. Creatures that end their turn within the cloud must also make the above mentioned defensive test. You may on your turns, as one of your actions, move the Spore Cloud. It moves at a speed of 20 feet.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Increase both types of damage by 1d6, increase radius by 10 feet.

Tier III Effects: Increase both types of damage by 1d6, Now inflicts Toxic (2) and Confused (2) conditions.

Manifestation

Natalya heard more of the creatures coming from her left, even as she felt her emerald claws form, the three gnolls coming from in front of her. She swiftly touched her power, weaving a spell-form to react to the noises to her left, a cloud of toxic spores seeming to erupt from the brush blocked the approach, and as she was forced to join combat with her companions with the three beastmen in front, she was satisfied to hear the choked coughing bark like noises from her left, the flanking gnolls clearly hindered and harmed noticeably by the toxic cloud of spores.
