Shadow Spell
Special: This spell-form may be selected more than once, and each time it becomes a Shadow {Insert Spell-form here} by name, as you choose a spell-form of a different Order.
Shadow, the art of blending in. What better way to blend in when your job is to watch and keep track of other Orders within the Magisterium than being able to seem as if you belong?
Effect
Base Effects: You copy the exact effects of the spell-form you choose to make this a false version of, however there are some important notes;
- You replace any instance of primary elemental damage with Psychic Damage (so for example, if copying a spell-form that would deal fire damage in some fashion, that damage becomes psychic damage) though the target believes it is the appropriate elemental damage for the order whom would normally weave the spell, and experiences it as such, should they fail their Sagacity Defensive Test.
- Any primary condition it inflicts, such as Ablaze, Stun, Frightened, etc etc, you replace with Confusion (1), though that confusion should manifest itself with some level of nod to the victim seeming to believe they are, for example, on fire. If it is a condition that scales, such as Toxic or Frightened, or Slow, then the Confusion scales appropriately. So for example if it would inflict Toxic (2) it becomes Confusion (2)
- Any defensive tests are replaced with a Sagacity Defensive Test, which if successful, besides being treated as a successful test for the effects of the spell you are weaving a shadow of, does let them realize that what they are experiencing is not real, but an illusionary effect of Scath which is assaulting their mind via trickery. This also prevents triggering any ability like Conductive or Firestorm as they are not tricked into believing it is the correct elemental damage for those abilities to work.

Special: You fill in all the properties of the original spell form you are learning how to falsely manifest. Duration, Casting Time, Range, any special target limitations, all those sorts of things you copy word for word. Casting TN, however, you take the base numbers and increase them all by 2. So as an example, if you choose a spell-form that has a base TN at Tier I of 14, for you it is 16.
