Palm Flare

A simple, combat effective spell form favored by those of the Ruby Order whom are partial to close up melee combat, this spell form is infamous for being a simple, yet effective way to buy some space in a crowded melee. Melting someone's face from their skull will generally have that effect for you.

Effect

Basic Effects: Focusing and dictating the flow of Doitean by your own stubborn will and strength, you take control of the Ruby Currents around you. Sending them to swirl and coalesce in and around your hand. Until the end of the duration, you may make a melee spell attack against a target of your choice. If you hit, you discharge the spell form, and the target takes 2d6 fire damage. The target must make an Agility Defense Test. Should they fail, in addition to the damage, the target is afflicted with the Blind (1) Condition.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: Does 4d6 Fire damage

Tier III Effects: Can make two such attacks before spell form is completely discharged.

Manifestation

Ambrose listened to the templar, Maximus' screams, as they died away to mere hisses, as his palm flared, another gout of flame erupting into reality from just in front of his hand, for the third time. It burned away the last of the corrupt knight's flesh and muscle, leaving naught but a blackened skull. "Now you'll not abuse your authority again. All any of you lot who would dare start executing licensed and honest members of the Magisterium deserve." he snarled, letting the body and skull drop from his grip, turning to the other two whom had followed Maximus' lead, eyeing them with flames of passion and anger flickering in his eyes. "Anyone else wishing to push their luck gentlemen?" he inquired.
