Natural Recovery

One of the most intensive and challenging spell-forms of the Emerald Order, yet one of the definitive and most important. A spell-form that the very purpose of which is to stand against the taint of the Void, and to help nature recover.

Effect

Basic Effects: Weaving the manna of Dulra for a full hour, you combat the taint with the sheer will and raw survival instinct of nature itself. At the end of this spell-form's unique and complex weaving period, you must make a Sagacity Defensive Test. Should you fail, you take 8d10 Void damage and are Stunned, should you succeed you take half that damage and are not stunned. Regardless of that defensive Test however, so long as you complete the casting successfully, the land and natural order of the world around you does go through a guided and accelerated recovery. Should you be in the presence and region under the influence of a Scar upon Reality or even a World-Wound, this taint upon the region heals 1 step (so from World-wound to Irritated Scar, or from Irritated Scar to Scar upon Reality, or from Scar upon Reality to Recovered)

Tier II Effects: The recovery now jumps two steps

Tier III Effects: The recovery now jumps three steps.

Manifestation

Amelia felt the pushback, her exhaustion from the hour long ritual, and from having to keep moving, keep running, keep out of sight mounting. She could not defend herself whilst attempting to help the realm around her recover, but the very nature of the spell-weave she was attempting would, and had continually drawn all manner of dark thing towards her. Now, at the apex of it all, she felt the Void itself resisting, throwing itself at her, trying to overwhelm her mind, to break her will. Gritting her teeth with an animalistic snarl she gave the final pull and twist of the last thread of Dulra, having no words, just an almost feral will to resist driving her. Exuding from her, as she fell to her knees, came a sudden emerald flash. The energy rushed out in all directions, and she felt the natural order shift, its recovery kick started, as she also felt blood drip from her nose and right ear, along with tasting it as she spit some out. All around her she saw and felt the effects. Long dead plants began to flower and blossom, dark and mutated flora shriveled and died. The work was far from done, Amelia knew that, and rose, exhaling as she stumbled to and leaned up against a tree. Far from done, for she had seen it, an actual World-Wound. She would need to regroup with her companions, and likely rest and attempt another, deeper foray on the morrow, now that the region was healed some. Now that there would not be an open door to the Void to worry about, merely the damaging taint upon the land itself.

Applied Restriction
Target: The target is the very natural order of things all about you, all around you, and the taint within it. This spell only really does anything or will only be effective if in the region of a Scar upon Reality, or worse, a World-Wound.
