Inferno

Some of the strongest of the Ruby Order can manifest the very heat and flames of Doitean from themselves, being the center of the inferno, while having no true harm befall them. Among those, the very best can actually control the very manifestation of these flames within the area around them, shaping them around those targets they do not wish to harm. They can even do all these in but a split second, like a deadly afterthought

Effect

Basic Effects: Swiftly pulling in a swelling mass of Doitean, you release it almost as if exhaling, as the world around you bursts into a flash of brilliant ruby flames. All creatures effected must make an Agility Defensive Test. On a failed test they take 10d6 fire damage, and gain the Ablaze condition. On a successful test they still take half damage.

Firestorm: Targets already effected by the Ablaze Condition roll their Defensive Test against the Momentum, and if they fail, they go permanently blind, their eyes counting as 'amputated'. They also take 10d10 (or half) fire damage instead of 10d6.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: You may exempt up to one additional creature in range, also damage increases to 11d6 and 11d10 as appropriate.

Tier III Effects: You may exempt up to one additional creature in range, also damage increases to 12d6 and 12d10 as appropriate.

Manifestation

It was all over, surely. Foul ratmen on all sides, at least four rat ogres, this was the end. Durak, on some level was at peace with that, as he spit up a bit of blood and saliva, his ribs and torso aching. Likely a rib had been driven into a lung, breathing was getting difficult. Back to back with Meriel, he smiled, taking the brief lull in stride, sensing the ratmen would soon enough swarm them again. "Its been a pleasure lass, I'm sorry it has to end like this."
"I would be too, uncle, but I don't think I'm ready for it to end." she replied softly. Before the dwarf could ask what she was on about, there was a brief and brilliant flash of pure ruby light, the smell of smouldering flesh and burnt fur. As the flash faded, the sound almost overwhelmed him. The shrieks and chitters of pain and suffering, the smell of dozens of cooked alive, dead or dying ratmen. A sudden and brief inferno of raw power and destruction, all consuming. He knew it had come from the woman he called niece, but marvelled at the complete control she showed, for the flames had not touched him or her even as they consumed all around them.
