Illusory Assault
Confusion and misdirection are not just fine tools, but excellent weapons as well.
Effect
Basic Effects: Weaving the manna flows of Scath you summon forth brief and confusing phantasmal weapons and creatures or assailants to engulf and assault the target. The target must make Sagacity Defense Test. If failed, they take 6d6 psychic damage, and are afflicted with the Confused (1) condition for 1 minute, though the creature may attempt the test again at the end of its turn every round to break free of the confusion. If the target succeeds, they take half damage and are not afflicted by the condition
Side/Secondary Effects
Tier II Effects: You may effect a second target in range, and afflict all targets with Confusion (2) on a failed test.
Tier III Effects: You may effect a third target in range, and afflict all targets with Confusion (3) on a failed test
Tier III Effects: You may effect a third target in range, and afflict all targets with Confusion (3) on a failed test
Manifestation
Antony cursed, swatting wildly at the strange shadowy flickering images around him, as the knife shaped forms stabbed at him, seeming as if smoke, but feeling as if steel, though no blood was being drawn. Cursing he flailed about, utterly confused, but suddenly he felt his hammer make contact with something solid. "Finally ye damn apostate I have ye" the man roared, swinging again, feeling the impact and hearing a body drop. As the images around him faded, and he shook himself free of the fit it had thrown in him......hearbreaking realization set in, as at the templar's feet...the broken body of a child. An orphan waif, clearly not the apostate he was chasing.
