Fire-heart

Fire is not just a destructive force, an important thing that is often overlooked by a great many when it comes to the Ruby Order, the misnomer of Pyromancers, the connotations of that word creating some reasonable enough, if ill informed, assumptions. Fire is an explosive, destructive, and violent force, a volatile and energetic power. Whilst all this is true, it is also fire, warmth, and heat that keep us alive. When one considers this fact, it should come as no surprise that a spell-form such as Fire-heart is a well practiced and favored spell-form for many a Ruby magister.

Effect

Basic Effects: Focusing the weaves of Doitean within and around themselves, a Ruby Magister swiftly but with great care directs and weaves those flows within the target, manipulating the Ruby flows to add heat or draw out warmth, whichever would prove the most helpful in the given situation. This spell-form removes one instance of the following conditions from the target;

• Diseased

• Toxic

• Slow

• Bleed

Furthermore the target will heal for 1d8 wounds. However, if the target is not yourself or another magister of the Ruby Order, the target must roll a Toughness Defense Test. Should they fail, they gain one level of Exhaustion.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: You may remove up to 2 instances of any of the above listed conditions, including removing one instance to two different ones, should that be the situation you find yourself in. Furthermore the healing becomes 2d8.

Tier III Effects: You may remove up to 3 instances of any of the above listed conditions, in any combination as would be appropriate from the target. Furthermore the healing becomes 3d8.

Manifestation

Maximus pitched his pistol, having discharged it into the red robed man's shoulder, his left arm hanging uselessly. He'd beaten the pyromancer to a pulp, and moved forth to manacle the magister. "Your kind deserve to burn, but for you I think drowning is the way we will go for you, dog"
Ambrose chuckled through the blood in his mouth, feeling his temperature rising, as he laid his right hand, searing white hot, onto his left shoulder blade. He felt the burning sensation as both bullet wound, and the poison from one of the knife wounds in his back, were purged and healed from his body. His left hand came up to meet the templar and through his bloody lips, he grinned and snarled, his eyes flickering a dangerous red. "I had papers. I showed them to you. I am licensed. You choose to abuse your power anyway. Well you made a mistake." The hand came up, and even Maximus could feel the tug of the magick from the Aether, and knew that Ambrose was far from cowed and far from beaten. "A bit of cauterization, a bit of purging of the blood. Now, sir Maximus, it is my turn to show you what abuse of power looks like."
