Figment
A simple exertion of will for a Shadowmancer, something of an easy party trick by comparison of what they are truly capable of, yet a favorite for its ease of use and utility.
Effect
Basic Effects: Weaving the energies of Scath, the subtle veins and threads of Onyx manna all about you, as you subtly pluck and strum them just so, you create a small disruption that manifests in the Material Realm, showing itself as an image of an inanimate object, or manifesting audibly.
If you choose to create a sound, its volume can range from a whisper to a scream, It may be your voice, someone else's voice, or indeed a voice you kind of have made up and described. It can be the crying of a baby or the roar of a great hunting cat. The sound of a flute playing or the beating of a war drum. It may also be a continuous and repeating sound. You may also have it be an intermittent noise, something that does not continue for the entire duration but instead rings out at intervals within the duration.
If you create an image of an object, such as a chair, or perhaps muddy footprints or a small lockbox, it must be no larger than a 5 foot cube. The image can't create sound, light, smell or any other sensory effect. Attempting to physically interact with the image immediately reveals its true, non-existent and shadowy nature.
If a creature uses its action to examine the image or sound, the creature can determine the true nature of what they are seeing or hearing with an Investigation check against your caster TN. If they do this, the illusion becomes a faint, almost non-existent to them.

Side/Secondary Effects
Tier II Effects: Range increases by 30 feet, you may utilize a 10 foot cubic area, and it will last for 1 extra minute.
Tier III Effects: Range increases by 30 feet, you may utilize a 15 foot cubic area, and it will last for 1 extra minute.

Manifestation
Brannigan smiled as he wove a subtle trick, needing only to buy a few seconds to disappear back into the busy city once more. A loud cracking, not unlike a sudden small explosion, rang out on the busy street, seeming to come from bustling part of the marketplace before him. Though no visual elements were present, the sound alone immediately stole the attention of all nearby, including those seeking the young man out, and a brief panic ensued, folks diving for cover, fleeing, calling for help. In the confusion, he slipped his tail easily.
