Eversmoulder Ale
Ach, though I speak with less of an accent than many of my kindred. But nothing wakes the northerner in ye than a pint o' Eversmoulder. It is a drink to fight back the darkest embraces of winter. It bites back ferociously against the cold. 'Tis a taste o' the Final March, a taste o' the promise of warmer times ta come. A drink made to o' the hope of an end of winter, a promise that there is warmth to come in due time. Tis a wonderful beverage, and the symbolism o' it only adds to its enjoyment. It is a special beverage, and culturally it is to only be available and consumed from the Final March til Ostara, that is until the spring breaks the arctic winter.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Naturally I would highly recommend trying the real deal, properly aged in charred white spruce an hickory casks for at least a year, as the faithful of Sir Kartheart have been making it. Theirs is normally aged for a decade. However this is dwarven firewater, calling it an ale is a bit of a misnomer, yet thus is its name. In truth it is more of a strong stout or beer, a more properly classification. The secret however, is the fact that this ale has cinnamon, cloves, and lemon added to the fermentation process, in a specific ratio, creating a sort of crackling heat and bite that is wholly unique, warming up the whole body.
I would provide a recipe and formulation of sorts, however I was asked not too by Kartheartian church. So if you wish to learn to brew your own batch, you would have to learn through trial and error, or petition the church to share the recipe with you, as they have with some brewers and other interested parties over the last four or five years.

History
Eversmoulder Ale has a unique history and historically, up until the last four decades or so, it has only been produced by the churches and temples of Sir Kartheart. However in recent times, a select few brewmasters have over the years been entrusted with the methods to make it and age it. Yet this is not so much a secret as it is a religious trust. There is no reason people do not know how this delightful beverage is made and aged, is simply because mostly no one ever asked. Eversmoulder Ale holds a special place with the celebration of the Final March, the concepts, the celebrations of the turning point of winter, and a smouldering, warm, fiery beverage meant to drive off the cold.
Significance
Eversmoulder Ale has a strong significance to the faith of Sir Kartheart, and it is attached to the mythos of the Final March itself. The mythos, legend and story is tied to the March itself, the idea that this beverage was actually part of what was used to insure the army whom made that heroic march would survive the effort, it was used to ward off the ice and cold.
