Cloak of Shadows

Sometimes being quiet, and blending in via conventional means isn't enough. Sometimes you need a little something extra.

Effect

Basic Effects: Weaving the threads of Scath all about you, you wrap yourself, and any others you include, in a swirling cloak of onyx energy that is highly visible for a moment, but fades quickly. As it fades, so seemingly, do you, as the colors of yourself and all you are wearing flawlessly and without any sort of noticeable delay, shift to match your surroundings, blending you to the enviroment, making you effectively invisible, a chameleon of sorts. If not moving, you are truly invisible, and even when moving you have the Momentum on all Subterfuge checks and anyone seeking to find or locate you is attempting to do so against the Momentum. Furthermore, even if they do locate you, any attempt to attack or target you with weapons or spells have a 20% chance to just miss you, since no one can really make out your stance to properly target you in such manners.

Manifestation

"Well I think we can all agree, this isn't ideal. Trapped in a small valley that has dead ended, with a bloodythirsty band of ogres hunting us all over. Any suggestions, Cecila?" Duncan asked, the ranger obviously quite nervous, checking over his weapons.

"Yes my friend, all of you lay a hand on me. For this magick to work, we need to be touching. That's it, good, hold still." she told her companions, as she began to whisper. Duncan felt a chill run up his spine, and had to blink, as he watched Conrad and Torben both seem to fade from sight. No not fade, he realized, straining his eyes, watching carefully. Not fade, but shift. The colors of themselves, the clothing they are wearing, even the weapons they all carried, had all shifted and blended to the grays and blacks of the stone around them. "Stick close to me, hug the walls, we'll walk right by them and make our escape." Cecila whispered.
