Blessing of Nature Spell in Adventures in Valerick TTRPG | World Anvil

Blessing of Nature

I call upon thee now master of the hunt,
bless this party with for our needs in this chase.
Mark us as one of your pack.
Bless us to be one with the wild spaces.
To let us be of nature, welcomed in it.
Gift unto us, I beseech thee, a gift of the wild places,
So that we may feel as if we belong.

Effect

Basic Effects: Feeling the gifts of the God of Hunters, you and your allies feel far more comfortable, more welcome and protected, and perhaps even more fleet of foot. You all gain +2 Natural Armor boost to Armor Score, and treat no natural terrain (anything but urban) as difficult terrain. Magick effects still count, but natural hazards and difficulties do not.

Side/Secondary Effects

Tier II Effects: +3 Natural Armor, Resistance to Poison Damage

Tier III Effects: +4 Natural Armor, ignore difficult terrain caused by even magick or supernatural effects.

Manifestation

Marik finished praying, much to Vashni's delight, the Mogol bladesmen wishing to get on with the chase. He felt the power surge through him, and noted his other companions did as well. Vashni looked to Marik, whom nodded once, and the hunter needed no other invitation, taking off in a run, insinctually dancing and weaving through the thick tangleroots of the woodlands, whilst keeping eyes on the orc sign about him. He could tell swiftly that letting Marik take a moment to bless them, though bothersome, was going to work out in their favor. He was outpacing them by quite the margin judging by the tracks they were leaving, the pace those tracks and trails suggested.
