Zifdar Rune Circle
Zifdar was an elf magi who studied the paths of wind and magic. He discovered that some magic circulates around fixed paths around Adijari. Upon following one such path, Zifdar came across a nexus where magic intersected and behaved uniquely. By tapping into this magic, Zifdar gave himself into what he believed to be the will ofa greater power. With some coercion of the atmosphere, though mostly through months of patience, a mighty storm happened above the nexus that suited Zifdar's needs. The wizard served as a conduit, implementing what he believed was only a minute amount of control as the lightning, wind, and rain, burnt and pressurized parts of the earth into stone, creating symbols that were contained within a perfect circle.
The Zifdar rune circle disrupts magic happening within it, so spells cannot be cast within the circle. Even Zifdar was surprised to find out that it affected the four people indiscriminately and not just elves. It also divides physical energy within the circle equally, so the meek can meet with the strong within the circle with no fear of being overpowered. It is a site of negotiation and fair combat, where enemies come together to discuss new treaties, or hold tournaments that decide terms of surrender.
