Salamanders

The first salamanders sprung out of what was once Zipacna's front legs. They are the length and height of wolves though more lizard like. Salamander's are agile creatures with legs built for jumping in any direction they choose. They are the smallest of the land dragons and the most populous. Inexperienced dragon slayers tend to think they are easy kills which is their folly. Salamanders are the most cunning and know how to work together. Many slayers don't realize this until it is too late.
