Seen from afar, the Myyrha Forest appears unremarkable. It is only when you try to enter it that it reveals itself to be much more. A hedge of knotted vines and other plant-life surrounds the entire forest. If anyone tries to chop through it, new vines instantly grow to take its place. I have met some who made multiple attempts to get inside before quitting because of the thorny vines that lashed out at them. They showed me where the vines struck them and though it happened years ago, the puffy pink blotches from the poison remains on their skin.
The reason so many have tried to get is for the fabled Myyrha fruit. The fruit comes from the Myyrha tree, the central tree of the forest that is the source of the forest's magic. Magicians want it to harvest the fruits power, though what the fruit is capable of is a mystery as intruders have been successfully kept out. That being said, the forest will shift the vines to create an opening in the hedge wall for some shamans. It is said that the forest intuitively knows who will be respectful of the forest and who will not.
There are new rumors that dryads live in the forest, but this is mostly speculation as these stories do not coincide with the earlier tales of the Myyrha forest.
