Karkadan

There are some beasts that are so wild, that not even a lahk with a close enough totem should dare approach them. The karkadan is one such beast. Weighing half as much as the average elephant, it is the largest of the unicorns. The karkadan is extremely surefooted, and despite its size, is able to travel as fast on mountains as it is on flat land. Because of its power, there have been many attempts to tame the karkadan for warfare. All have failed. Even when it seems that the creature is behaving, it will escape at the first chance it gets. The smartest thing to do when you come across a karkadan, is to avoid it. They are extremely territorial and mistrustful of people, perhaps legitimately so.
