Flare Arrows

Flare arrow are a specialty of the Rampura military. Although the materials to make a flare arrow are prevalent, it is a painstakingly and lengthy process to create them.  Light smiths of Rampura draw an immense amount of light energy into translucent soft stone coils. These coils are covered in a layer of reflective liquid and another layer of clay that that keeps the light energy in the stone contained. When the arrow hits the brittle head shatters and unleashes a burst of violent light. The arrows are specifically damaging to devs. The flare overstimulates the light energy within them, turning the affected parts white and completely inert. With an average diameter of a foot upon cracking, it can paralyze non vital parts of the body for life and can kill instantly if the flare goes through any vital organs. These arrows take advantage of the fact that many devs prefer to fight with parts of their body exposed because of their connection to light.
