Sons of Dhelian

The sons of dhelian were a partisan group lead by great captain Mihkel Rand of the The Holy order. His group was most active duringthe bloodlight wars where he and a few thousand other soldiers operated behind enemy lines and carried out attacks and acts of sabotage against the occupying chaos legions. He and his force of partisans managed to hold out for three months before eventually being overwhelmed by large numbers of traitor soldiers. He and a few of his comrades survived the War and to this day serve the holy order and The imperial terran federation. They are also known as the forest brothers.

Structure

The Forest brothers are divided into 10 companies, which together form a great company. Each company consisted of a hundred soldiers in ten squads which consisted of 10 soldiers. Overall the Forest brothers had four great companies and each squad was assigned to a specific role. The squads were mixed with specialist roles like Runeseers and Necromancers mixing in with regular assault, scout and heavy infantry. This allowed each squad to be self sufficient to a very large degree and wreck havoc upon the traitor forces that occupied the area.

Public Agenda

The forest brothers had promised to liberate the Central Sidonian Uplands from the traitorous forces that had occupied the area after driving out most of the Cadmeian planetary defence forces stationed there

Assets

The Forest brethren had better equipment than the normal Cadmeian blood dragon soldier due to them being part of the special operations group. They had large amounts of swift and hard hitting vehicles like land speeders, Humvees, Hypersonic strike craft and bombers to engage the enemy in hit and run attacks. Only in a few situations did they engage the enemy head on, mostly when assaulting a large enemy outpost with hundreds of soldiers attacking all at once. In these situations they used Goliath battlesuit, their sole Hydra super heavy gunship And some other heavy assault vehicles to launch surprise attacks. They also heavily used artillery to bombard positions and retreat swiftly into the forest.
