The Earth Artefact

Lucas gaped at the Earth Artefact as the light flooded into the room with a newly-opened gate in the roof. The light struck the Jade cube, and light split as it would in a prism. The magic was now clearly visible; light bounced off of it, making visible purple flames of magic. As soon as he saw them, the purple flames seeped into the Artefact, making it glow purple as well. Lucas thought he heard a man scream as the purple flames shot into the cube. After a few minutes, everything went quiet. The cube was now on flames, but was cold to the touch. Lucas swiped the Artefact off its pedestal.

The Earth Artefact is a green polyhedron made out of the purest Jade ever. It is one of the four Artefacts, along with the Fire, Water and Wind Artefacts. This Artefact is the base of all the land of Acciphere; without it, there would be no soil or ground to even stand on.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Earth Artefact is a magical item which gives a user the power to manipulate the earth below them. The Asil Jade enhances the range of the Artefact and doubles the power. The Jade also acts as a cage so that the magic can't escape and dissipate into the air. In all, if the jade cage breaks, the amount of energy inside the Artefact would be enough to kill anyone within a 10-mile radius and knock out everyone else in a 50-mile range of the Artefact.

Significance

The Artefact is a very significant part of Acciphere's culture. Its powers are only available to the Earth Clan, who are the natural protectors of the Earth Artefact since the beginning of time (or so they say.) It's been a part of the Garfaxin and the MechaGods Kingdoms, as that's where the Earth Clan is present. So far they are the only ones who can manipulate the Earth using the power of the Artefact. It's a genetic trait that is only passed down their clan.

Raw materials & Components

There is a huge ball of magic enclosed in a cage of Asil cage. The Artefact itself cannot be manufactured; rather, it's a product of nature. The replicas, however, were made by pumping some energy into another Asil Jade cage, but the experiment failed miserably as once a little bit of energy exited the original the whole place blew up.
