Thel 'Aldama

Arbiter

A man destined for a life of servitude. Thell's life has been lived as a mere puppet for those above him, whether the will of a guildmaster, or the Arbiter for the Covenant, he has always had a superior. Thell had lived his first life in the body of a humanoid on the planet of Tyffon. He was raised to be a soldier, to fight in what seemed to be a never ending war of the Blackstone Legion, and the Covenant. However, in a fate of failure, due tactical mishap, the legion that Thell, in the Covenant, was assigned had engaged in a horrible battle, leaving Thell the only survivor. Upon his arrival back to his birthplace, the Capital, he was shunned by the royal families for his failure to die like a hero. So, as his punishment, he was sent to the front lines, alone, with the title of Arbiter. Though, Thell had managed to survive this suicide mission, proving himself useful. The royal families had assigned him numerous, confidential tasks which'd amount to war crimes. For fifteen years, Thell was given these tasks, forced to commit atrocities to earn his freedom. Soon, he had finished these tasks and got given the right to retire from his armed services.
For a hefty amount of Gold Pieces as compensation, Thell had moved out to the countryside, to live in peace. It was here that he met his wife, and they had a child by the name of Gørmand 'Aldama, and settled down with a job in a bakery. For 5 years, he lived in peace, until one fateful night, where a raid of Blackstone barbarians had pillaged the town, killing all they found. Thell watched as his home, bakery and livery was burned to the ground, and had also seen his beloved wife, perish within the flames and had thought that his son perished as well. He would then executed by these barbaric warriors, and then brought back to life in the body of a warforged. Within this new body, Thell would be imprisoned by an old friend, used to make the flawless warrior for the Covenant. Though he had escaped, only to be brought into servitude again by the Guildmaster Morden.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Whilst his corpse is bone dry by now, his newly made body of metal still lives on. It has sustained a few scratches, but keeps itself powered on.

Body Features

Thell has a chest compartment built into his body, capable of storing items or tiny creatures within his chest. He has stored a B-1 model inside himself.

Facial Features

A simple face, lacking of what a regular humanoid would need. Thell has no mouth, nor a nose, or ears. However, he does have 2 glowing eyes filled with the colour of orange.

Identifying Characteristics

Thell can be easily identified due to being a warforged, with metallic skin and his customised weaponry.

Specialized Equipment

Thell has modified his body with the help of artificers to be an incredible work of craft. He has modified 4 arm blades dotted across his body. He has 1 properly built into his arm, and the other 3 float around his body, that can be summoned as an arm blade at any given time.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

The tale of my life is a simple one, I was born, like any other creature. I joined and fought for my people, valiantly. When I retired, I settled down with my wife and child, but one day, raiders from a once opposing faction had invaded the small village that we settled down in. This led to my demise as well as my wife's. As for my boy, I do not know if he lived or died.
Four years later, an old friend of mine brought be back into this body, one of a metal tomb, trapping my soul from the Great Journey, forced to live out my new life to serve those above me, whether I wished to or not.

Gender Identity

I consider myself a male, though with this new body, I am forced into a state of uncertainty and neutrality.

Education

An academy of military, was where I was educated. Deep within the capital of the Covenant, Lankile. I was taught well in the forms of strategy and combat, to be a great soldier of my people.

Employment

I was employed recently by the guild master known as Morden. However, I was also a soldier, arbiter and a baker after my retirement.

Accomplishments & Achievements

For starters, I was able to hold off a full frontal assault from the Blackstone Legion, which I am still proud of to this day. During my time as Arbiter, I had to enforce guerrilla warfare tactics by myself against military groups.

Failures & Embarrassments

I failed to protect my village from the raiders that ruined my life, and afterlife. It still haunts me to this day.

Mental Trauma

My son may not be with the living, this thought has troubled me for too long.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Thell, currently, is a part of an Adventuring group which consists of four other members, all of varying skills and different talents. This group is employed unwillingly by Guildmaster Morden, who is considered a contact of Thell. Thell is also on mixed terms with other poeple, such as Veronica Bello. He also seems to be sociable enough to gain fondness with new people.

Religious Views

Thell had set his religious belief in the Tyffon religion known as the Journey Beyond, being given an untouchable form in the Astral Sea, to live out their afterlife in their mortal prime. However, when died, he did not achieve a permanent placement in the Astral Sea, and was brought back in hollow metal, by an old friend.

I do, in fact, know quite a few languages. Definitely Common and Sangheili, as they are my mother tongue. Although I do know enough Elvish and Draconic to get by.
