Lyonesians

One of the original four courts of Graceswift, after The Fall of the Fae , Lyonesse was formed within dense forests, with trees that stretched up higher than most other areas, which descended down into passageways and ridges along a mesa-like environment. They also had a shorter forest of primarily trees of oaken origin, which had stretched across a series of plains, connecting to territory of the original Graceswift Court. The half elves that lived in this area had gone for the naturalist approach, sticking close to the trees and ridges. The settlements here are not often built on the normal level of the surface as any of the other courts. The settlements are built within, and between trees, or filling out the smaller canyons in the more desolate of areas. This group of people are known for their chivalrous approach to anything they set their mind to. It is even said upon their knight's crest, which says "Polod-o a raw, polod-o ammen" , which roughly translates into 'Strength of a Lion, Strength of Us'. Lions are a common symbol for this group of elves, the first settlement within this area was said to have bonded with a pride of lions to become fearsome warriors.

These half-elves came from a former civilisation of humans, who had intertwined with wood elves, forming a bond that'd create a new culture with the confidence of an elf and the innovation of a human. The buildings and monuments made by those in the Lyonesse area are complex, intertwine with one another, and have hidden corridors, rooms, and other areas that are still hidden from others to this day. Their intricacy does not stop there, the standard fitting of a knight's outfit is decorated with the head of a lion, which is able to hold a small vial capable of healing oneself, a smaller form of a healing potion, to be exact. The armour is also quite endurable, making the Lyonesse knights and warriors some of the most gifted for combat within the Graceswift kingdom.

Feminine names

The naming process for Lyonesse is quite varied, but takes on a similar form as to the rest of the Graceswift Kingdom and it's surrounding areas. 

Feminine names include; Aleena, Ivy, Kasmina, Evelyn, Mollie, Rose, and Everly. 

Masculine names

The naming process for Lyonesse is quite varied, but takes on a similar form as to the rest of the Graceswift Kingdom and it's surrounding areas. 

Masculine names include; Rocco, Theo, Barney, Kassius, Laurence, Max, and Ozamataz. 

Unisex names

The naming process for Lyonesse is quite varied, but takes on a similar form as to the rest of the Graceswift Kingdom and it's surrounding areas. 

Unisex names include; Lane, Billie, Piper, Sky, and Kiran. 

Family names

Some of the most common names for families within the Lyonesse area and culture are shared with other areas of the Graceswift kingdom, however in it's earliest days, the most common names that were found were; Lyon, Castor, Arnis, and Esprit. 

The Court's Head family name was Lyon. 

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

The ideology of beauty within this region is quite simple. Those that are brave are often seen as the most attractive of people within the land. Although, many to say they have an affinity for blonde people, of any gender. 

Court Leader Avalon Lyon, of the Lyonesse Courts

The Lyonesse Courts, before the later formation of the Graceswift Kingdom, was ran by a member of their head family, Avalon Lyon. A cheerful fellow, he was known for his bonding with a large lion that he rode for battles, festivals, and leisure. He was a member of the Court into Kingdom event, and is still alive today, albeit having passed on his legacy to his children, where he spends his 'retirement' from leadership within the canyons, often exploring them with his lion ally. Avalon was also known for leading his military into expanding his kingdom to wider territories, often bestowing riches and supplies to what used to be small settlements and tribes. Often given the nickname of the Unifier, the Lyonesse Courts had been able to expand into the canyons thanks to his work.
