Erialla State Navy, the 72nd Legion
Erialla is a large nation, with many cities and counties to go around, there is no way that a simple guard can protect them against all threats. The Erialla County Heads had formed a solution, a form of protection that could stop the enemies from arriving to their precious lands. They could try to defeat them before the enemies had known that the fight began.
The Erialla State Navy had answered their ideals, and formed one of their most recent legions. Instead of Warforged, or Guards, or expert Marines. They had constructed a mixture of Siege and Heavy Artillery Weaponry. It was distributed quick, large factories making these weapons of war.
History of Use
At the outbreak of the Rebels attacking Erialla, any non-divisional artillery would come under corps or army control. A Corps had both siege and heavy artillery to control artillery units allocated to it. This was the structure used in the Erialla Royal Guard (ERG) during the battle for the Coastline in 13 FL. After the fall of the Coastline in FL, and the evacuation of the ERG a review took place of the deployment of artillery in support of divisional operations. In 16FL , four Army Groups Royal Artillery (AGRA) were formed in the Capital, each under command of a Lordom. Each was allocated to one the four Corps designated for deployment in the Coastline. During the campaign in the Bennatia Dunes Border, the units under command of each of the AGRA remained fairly constant. They could be deployed flexibly to support specific operations as directed by the Corps Commander.Types of Siege Weapons Used
Ballista
The Ballista used in the Erialla Armies were fine, however they needed improvements. They were the most common sight when fighting in Battles, as they were Cheap and had easy control. They often fired FlameStone in order to spew flames in a last effort, since it was also made of Wood. Often, the Soldiers would lay shrapnel and gunpowder to defeat enemy soldiers who wished to reuse the ballista.Battering Ram
Used to destroy small forts, the Battering Rams were used by the Hill Giants who fought with Erialla. It was used by a rag-tag group of anti-heroes in the Efforts to protect a coastal village from a Goblin Invasion.Composition

For Each artillery group, there is 500 Men or Women, with a 50/50 to gender distribution. Though the 72nd Legion has approximately 50 groups working all across Erialla's Nation. 1/20 of these soldiers would use the heavy artillery, whilst the others did recon, supply runs, and more.
