Stone Coast
The Stone coast of Barraskr nominally belongs to Vaenirheim , the only bit of sea coast the nation has. That being said the Stone Coast is isolated by their dense forests, known as the Black-Thorn Wood, and the border they share with the Autumnal Expanse .
As a result the culture of the Stone Coast most closely resembles that of the time when Barraskr was a single united nation under the rule of the Giants. It is based on Pictish culture of Ireland, Brittain, and the nearby coasts. A culture who, rather than looking to connect with their countrymen inwards of the continent, look outward, to the sea and stars. They worship the Zenith and the Sky, Rionaag and Adhar, as well as the gods of the Deep, Uvi, Ravi and Orochi. They are known for their intricate tattoos and their astonishing navigational skills.
Demographics
The Stone Coast is made largely of humans, goliaths, orcs and halflings, but also a surprising concentration of Aasimar. Celestial is the local language in which histories and stories are most often sung.
Government
The Stone Coast is largely left to rule itself, and divides into small towns and villages. They have no Thanes, just village chieftans.
Defences
The dense Belaqua forest and the harsh coastline form natural defenses, not to mention the Autumanl Expanse to the south.
Industry & Trade
They trade by sea, often bringing furs and game not native to other sea-dwelling peoples, and returning with goods from far off islands. Some brave souls even venture into the Autumnal Expanse to bring back rare herbs and materials that brush up against the land of the fae.

Points of interest
There is a landmark near the Stone Coast that most locals know of but few have seen up close. Through the Blackthorn Wood, there is a clearing upon a large mountain top that overlooks the sea. Upon it is a single grave marked "Here rests at last Ishmael Maclir" dated roughly 300 years ago.
