Moku Kolohe (Mo-koo kO-loh-he)
One of the minor islands of the Voyager Isles, Moku Kolohe rests off of the southern tip of Kohola. The two islands could not be more different. While Kohola is a bustling island with many major ports and a must-stop for west-bound legitimate businesses, Moku Kolohe is small, was never properly settled as it was unsuited to the growth of plants and life - it is also home to a wide variety of dangerous creatures that make their home upon the rough and rocky inland.
So Moku Kolohe was settled only after Kohola was already a booming island, and as such was founded largely with such business in mind. It's position makes it the perfect stopover for anyone not specifically heading north, and while Kohola is a huge destination for tourists and business traders alike, Moku Kolohe was purpose built to be the port every ship would pass through.
It was often beset by criminal activity, and the struggle between law and crime carried on in full daylight, threatening to push away those who sought to do business there but could afford to take their ships elsewhere. In the past couple of decades though, the surface level crime has ground to a halt. The reason for this is an open secret - organized crime has overtaken the port city of Keiki Honu, the capital of Moku Kolohe and the only large city it hosts. The island is, like the other voyager isles, ruled by a Queen, but the city at least is ruled by a gang called The Bodies
Geography
Mostly a very large spit of volcanic rock, the island has little soil to speak of, and the erosion has created many hidden coves and caverns, in which dwell things that thrive out of the light of day.

Localized Phenomena
The caves far to the east scream every sunset. Nobody knows why.
Fauna & Flora
Some of the more hostile outcrops of the island are home to harpies, giant scorpions, drakes and the like. The island is a popular stop for monster hunters, as the smaller settlments are in constant need of protection of their growing borders.
Natural Resources
Lava Stone. The island is not rich in resources.
History
The island was settled only 271 years ago, in the year Sky: 782. Under the rule of Queen Kapo Kolohe it has experienced untold growth, particularly in the past 20 years or so.
Before that the island settlements were profitable but not thriving. Queen Kapo Kolohe made enormous allowances for the island's gambling halls and drinking dens. The crackdowns on criminal activity slowed to a halt, and the trade of information became a major contributor to the economy.
Tourism
Honest Tourists come here to lose money in the gambling halls, while more nefarious business takes place just beneatht the surface.
