Aaltiera

Far outside of civilised space is the world of Aaltiera. Smothered by a thick electromagnetic haze and ringed by ancient debris fields, the world is marked as "Dead" on all known starcharts. Yet below the obfuscating clouds, the world is still barely clinging on to life between the shattered spires of the overgrown concrete jungles, across the vast reaches of the razor dunes, and in the cramped, confined spaces of the rust tunnels below the surface.   On occasion foolhardy souls travel to Aaltiera. Perhaps they look for treasure or valuable salvage. Sometimes they seek refuge from the authorities or from raider gangs. Sometimes they are simply woefully misinformed. None over return from the planet's surface...
