New Years

New Years is more solemn than on our planet, at the start. It begins with remembrance of all the billions of souls and countless species which perished in the Great Event.
The afternoon is then spent walking into and out of the cave that saved civilization. Each citizen brings with them a small candle which is left by the statue of Salah Mananujar.
There is then celebration in the streets to welcome the 15 new students to Wa-Tika.
The students are led inside where a grand feast awaits them. They are introduced to the school, the rules, and are then led to their dorms.
School begins the next day.
