Amber Temple

Millenia ago, the Raven Queen sought the derelict memories of long dead old gods - creatures from before creation. Their last vestiges were gathered and cast in amber in here, in her temple. As her collection grew, so did the ego of the Dark Powers. When the threat of the Dark Powers' corruption was discovered, the Raven Queen did not end her experiment, instead she had her temple transformed into a prison for the Legion of Dread.

The corrupting power of the Amber Temple was too much and the guards tasked with keeping the Dark Powers at bay were transformed into their very agents.
