Wrakka

A Wrakka is a Hexen (artificial created being) which has become an Alrauna, or an Alrauna who has lost more than 70% of their original body. They are considered Nachkommen, but Urkommen can become them as well. They often undergo an ego death similar to the Gweraz or Gwyllt, where they frequently lose their memories or die from sepsis. Many of them lose the ability to move.

It has been discovered that those with certain sets chromosones have a better chance of retaining memories, though this is just a theory...

Who are they and what do they look like?

• Wrakka are almost always completely made of wood, possibly with metal or plastic
• They are often overgrown with the plant they are bonded to, and they may be immobile
• Some of them have become trees

What are their senses or perceptions?

• They are typically blind and rely completely on sense of smell/taste
• They can thus summon many things with chemicals/pheremones
• Their ability to feel pain seems to not be well researched
• They retain a level of sapience, but it really depends on the case

Where are they in your setting?

• They typically live in forests or near abandoned settlements
• Many times an Alrauna or Hexen would be sacrificed if a town failed their harvest or needed to move
• They are difficult for Higher sapient beings to recognise, and they are typically solitary
• They often attract Godsibbs

How do they survive in their environment?

• They feed off of nutrients in the soil as well as the sunlight, in a way, they are Bel's perfect creatures
• Some of them get amber or silica hearts in order to outlast the decay that becomes inevitable
• Eventually, they become trees, but they can delay the process (though it's expensive)

What is their general attitude?

• They are unhinged and malicious
• Ava1ach Abe1lion is one of the few who has managed to cheat decay and keep his wits, owing in major parts to his wife Wendy Bloodwoad and estranged daughter Sheena Mirverch
• Wendy also becomes a Wrakka after being swallowed by a Wisteria Tree, but is freed and purified by Kalv
• Asphodel becomes a Wrakka, who Armael with the help of Rianu (Angelica? or Arctic Thyme?) turns into a meadow

How do they feel about the other peoples?

• They are often defended by armies of lesser sapients or Godsibbs
• They are basically Ghost-trees
• Those who lose their sapience and "soul aura" (determined by a priest, Wrakka are considered damned, and become known as Ukwos, or Nameless, as that is a Taboo word. Those deemed Ulkwos by the Church are not allowed to be prayed for for 1000 years.
