Heath Village Welcome Centre
Heath Village Welcome Centre is a mansion next to Heath Village Station.
What's the name of your building? Why?
- Heath Village Welcome Centre is named after the monorail station it is built beside, Heath Village
What’s the purpose of this building?
- This is where the ranger of Heath Village (caretaking + law & order) stays
- This is also where the resident doctor stays
- There's a clinic, guest room, library, tool/equipment room, among other amenities
- This is a muster point for emergencies and raids as well
How does this building look and feel?
- It doesn't follow the same structure as the Wyva that are otherwise built to house the population
- The building is built into petrified Heath bramble, surrounded by a moat and a tall bramble wall made of different health plants.
- The height of the wall is like a castle wall
- Beneath the petrified heath is a lot of plastic, and some of the only parts that don't disappear when the Locii emerge, and it is in fact beneath the plastic layers that some Locii eggs sleep in the dungeon - they climb the wall when adulthood is reached and when they leave it means the forest is ready to be inhabited again
- It is made of petrified wood and mud, and therefore looks and feels like stone but is actually wood, there is a shrine in the very back of the house that looks like it was from the original (previous building), and is a carving of a woman (or a beautiful man) holding a bucket full of berries burnt into the plastic with her eyes covered.
- It is thought to be an early Alrauna, perhaps a guardian of one of the many Heath berry species around the area, and so she is known as "Heather" or "The Heathen"
- There are carvings in the petrified heath and mud, particularly of young hunters of both genders fighting or being abducted by Godsibbs or Wrakka, but a lot of them have broken off. The Village's Patron Animal, the Coati, is carved and shown leading magicians to berries
