Behavior

Changelings will hide among their pray, strike and go into hiding once more. One common tactic they use is to eat their victim whole, bones and all, and afterwards take on the form of their victim. Another is to take on the form of a innocent pet and then revert to said animal form after every attack.
But they are hard to predict as they can take on so many forms. There have even been cases where a changeling has pretended to be a corpse.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Few have seen a changelings true form and lived. But those whom have describes are being that is in most ways a exact replica of a normal ghoul. Whit a few exceptions. For one changelings have a much bigger mouth the a normal ghoul, full of shark like teeth. And secondly the color of there true eyes are amber yellow.

Biological Traits

Changelings have a mind, unlike their ghoul parent, and a ability making them perhaps the most dangerous of all the Cadaverum species's. They can shift their form to look like any living thing. Be it mortal, animal or plant.
Most believe it to be a from of inborn magic. Regardless the fact remain that this ability makes changelings extremely hard to defend against. As they most often take on the form of something, or someone, that is close to there intended victim. There are however three things that can expose one of this monsters.
1) Changelings can't replicate the memory's of the person they pretend to be.
2) Changelings more often then not have a greater appetite whom ever there impersonating, yet they grow no fatter then they already are.
3) And lastly changelings can't hide what they truly are from magic that probe the mind.

Genetics and Reproduction

Changelings are a breed of infertile ghouls. They can not reproduce at all.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Carnivores. Changelings often eat there meat raw and while its still alive. But as they are shapeshifters pretending to be other beings they can eat cooked meats and pretend to eat plant life to keep up the illusion.

Biological Cycle

It is not know if changelings die of old age. But they grow to there full strength in about 3 years.
