Once crafted, this living soul armour stripped from a sanguine bear curses the wearer with an illness known only as the Dire Retribution - As punishment for the atrocities committed against the Sanguine Dire Bears.
The armour, once donned, binds to the flesh of the wearer causing extreme disfigurement and pain, the metal of the armour stabs and rends through the flesh and surrounds the wearers heart - both infusing the wearer with immense magical and physical power whilst simultaneously making it clear that if they try to remove the armour their life would be ended as a final act of revenge. Wearing the armour is permanent and comes with many strengths at the cost of twisting and corrupting the wearer.
