Underwood Pack

A small pack of werebears living in the Adirondack Mountains. They are members within the alliance, but do not participate much in the day to day politics. Only when it directly affects them do they join meetings or have an interest in participating.
The werebears mostly keep to themselves. They only venture into the villages to find partners for their young adults as they cannot reproduce amonst themselves.
The pack maintains the forsts and trails within their territory. They also help in case of emergencies and to fight wildfires. They live off of the land for the most part, but they also harvest some lumber and various other resources to sell.
With the money they then by resources that they cannot create themselves such as trucks, generators and other modern, technology.
The underwood pack is viewed with some suspision by most other communities. They were always in conflict with most other factions and rarely respected them. Many deaths were caused in skirmishes. Only the intervention of the archdruid stopped this violence as the underwood pack found another way to live their violence in a less distructive manner.
The underwood pack always particitpates in the Adirondack Mountains Ironman Run and many of its young members are very successful in competing. This is often a good chance to show of their strength and attract potential mates.
the practice of simply kidnapping young women and men from the villages was abandaond in favor of this more peaceful path. This has lead to some opening of the pack, but they still keep mostly to themselves.
