Oven Village

An abandoned internment camp at Oven Lake. It was used by the Five Ponds Nation to imprison the Northeastern Adirondack Dwellers and force them to work for the nation. They were displaced from their original habitats for many different reasons, but for the most part the werewolves of the Five Ponds Nation did not want to share their territory with the Jogah natives.   The camp was used as a work camp for several decades until the end of the Strike for Independence. Since then the camp has been abandoned and nature is slowly taking it back.   The camp was the prison to around 1'300 Jogah at its peak from many different communities and all three sub-species all thrown together and forced to live and work together. Many Jogah were born and died within the camp, never knowing live outside.   The core of the camp were habitat complexes where each Jogah got a small single cell assigned with a matress and a small stand. Their children were kept in a communial complex and raised and trained under the direct supervision of the guards.   The village is surrounded by a massive fence all around it. Including on the shorelines of Lake Oven. The fence had only a single entrance and was filled with high voltage to prevent any Jogah from messing with it. During the years it was run only a handfull of Jogah managed to escape successfully. The majority were killed if guards even suspected that someone tried to escape.   The habitat complexes were surrounded by workshops and manufactury buildings where the Jogah assembled various tools and weapons for the werewolves.   The secret heart of the camp was a small hidden laboratory hidden away underground. In this laboratory the werewolves were conducting tests to try and figure out how the Jogahs natural stealth works. This was supposed to give the mercenaries of the Five Ponds Nation a massive advantage in combat if it can be applied to others. They never achieved any kind of results. The largest "success" was to use a Jogah strapped with a bomb to sneak into an enemy camp and blow themselves up.
