Aachor

Aachor is the coldest continent of Ûnduleah, located to the east of the inland sea.
Aachor is split down the middle by the Aachor mountains, giving it its name. It is home to a diverse range of biomes, and a similarly diverse range of Kádi Clans.

Celestial Shards on Aachor:

The white dormant shard

• Located in the North of Aachor, near the Bari crater
• It acts as an inert material, not reacting to anything else, including magic. The source of most magic-blocking materials.

The black armour shard

• Located south of the The Twin Gap in Filinor forest
• The source of most magic-enhancing materials and magical armors

The red ghost shard

• Located in the south of Aachor, in the hills of Muil Riish
• It has some connection to the realm of the dead and of ghosts

The yellow shard of teleportation

• Located in the south of Aachor, on one of the Stremi Islands of the Remu Kádi.
• It has powers of transportation.

Geography

Aachor is split down the middle by the North and South Aachor mountains. In the middle is a gap with 2 mountains in the middle, called the twin gap.
The continent hosts a diverse geography and many different biomes (in counter-clockwise order):


The northwest is home to the Escar Kádi, a cold region with many tundra forests.
In the western parts of Aachor the Fili Kádi live on the vast grasslands and large broadleaf forests. Here is also where the The Twin Gap is located, the place where passing from east to west Aachor is easiest.
In the southwest, just below the marshy divide of the Loas Riish is a warm hilly region called Muil Riish, riish meaning red. After the red dirt from the high iron contents of the earth there. Home of the Iri Kádi.
In the southeast are the many rainforest islands of the Remu Kádi. A group renowned for their shipmaking abilities.
In the eastern parts are the semi-arid steppes where the .... dwell.
Lastly, the northeastern part is a cold and dry region, home to the Bar Kádi.

Climate

Aachor has a diverse climate due to the Aachor mountains effectively splitting it in 2. Due to it's long orientation the continent's south is near the equator, while the north is near the north pole, creating a wide range of climates and biomes.
Most of the western side of Aachor is on the windward side of the mountains, resulting in much more flora growing on the west side and allowing for some agriculture. The Aachor mountains absorb some of the heat from the Orange Heat Shard resulting in a colder and dryer east side of Aachor. Except for the southern part, where the Remu islands receive a very high amount of precipitation, resulting in rainforests growing here and leaving the Muil riish region a lot more arid.
